Description Sergei Mamonov 2014-08-11 11:45:35 CEST
Can you add batch processing to nsd-control reload like
nsd-control reload example1.org example2.org example3.org .....
?

We afraid that nsd-control reload whithout params("reads changed zonefiles") freezy or broken down if changed domains be 10000/100000+ (via cpu/memory or etc).
We try to use it with list of changed domain, but now with one domain for start nsd-control it have as result cpu overhead and 30-40 min for ~1300 changed domains.

Hi Sergei,

Yes that feature makes sense. NSD won't freeze, but the reload would take a long time, and no other reload tasks happen in the meantime.

Best regards,
   Wouter
