1. Add mypattern to nsd configuration.
2. nsd-control addzone myzone mypattern.
3. Add statistics to mypattern in the nsd configuration.
4. nsd-control reconfig
5. List stats and see that myzone does not have statistics.
6. Restart nsd.
7. List stats and see that myzone does have statistics.

Same applies to removing stats for a pattern configuration.

Hi Daniel,

It turns out that zone statistics are a shared-memory feature that needs to create that shared memory (when the program starts).  I don't really want to mess with forking with shared memory segments on a reconfig.

Other pattern stuff, such as the list of masters, is updated on a reconfig.  It is just the per-zone statistics feature that is not.

So, I guess that turns this issue into a documentation issue where man-page for reconfig mentions what it does not reconfig.
